An Apostille is a method that internationally verifies documents for use in foreign countries that follow the Hague Convention. You may need to use an Apostille service if you want to authorize your incorporation documents in a certain jurisdiction. In doing so, your documents will be legally recognized, meaning you don’t need to follow other legal formalities to get your business acknowledged.
Some countries are not signatories to the Hague Convention; if you want to commence business in one of these countries, you’ll need to get your documents legalized using a four- step process known as the “chain authentication method.” This method involves notarization, legalization by the Secretary of State, Authentication by the U.S. Department of State, and Authentication by the embassy in the country where the document will be used.
Regardless of whether you need an Apostille or legalization service, Corporate Creations can help.
When you entrust us to handle your Apostille documents, you can ensure they will be handled in the proper manner as quickly as possible.
